My first and ever art-in-residence programme; A great art space if you are interested into creating works about snow and Sapporo.

Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio is a medium-term lodging facility owned by the city of Sapporo that has been often referred to as the "international artist-in-residence" to support creative activities. Artists can stay here temporarily to conduct their creative activities and the facility is equipped with a kitchen and laundry room. Researchers who need to conduct research for a long period of time can also stay here.

The facility is open to the general public, who can also take a walk in the surrounding Tenjinyama Green Park. Inside the facility there are common spaces such as an exhibition space and an exchange salon. The public can also enjoy the space for reading, browsing art-related materials, and other free activities.
