Developed to convey the appeal of Tokushima's local ingredients to those who are conscious of food safety and ingredients, the package design of this rare ice cream made from rice and brown rice was designed based on the concept of a small rice bag. In order to convey the fact that the product is made from rice and brown rice, we tried to make it easy to understand and pick up, as well as humorous and impactful.
The main visual is an illustration that combines the motif of rice with the sizzle of melting ice cream, with a seal that incorporates the characteristics of the product.
For the outer bag, we used kraft paper reminiscent of a rice bag while focusing on a shape that would fit the cup.
In addition, by using two different color schemes, white rice and brown rice, with the base color of the paper and white ink reversed, the number of colors, etc., was reduced to cut down on printing costs.
