Kakaopay, a subsidary of IT giant kakao corporation, is a fintech corporation providing diverse financial services from on/offline payment, money transfer, to even investment. This project was proposed as inhouse, and it began lightly with the idea of preparing gifts for VIP.
Before starting to design, we had imagined standing in the field and anticipating the course in the cool breeze before we hit the ball. We often hope that the ball hits well and flies on a better course than its ability. This was related to luck, and we thought if there was a product that made people feel lucky, we could leave a good impression on VIP.
We put Fortuna, the goddess of luck, in design to pray for good luck. The package is designed to make the story look like a 'constellation' of fortune and the words on the surface like a phrase from a long time ago written in the rune. The reason we intentionally contrasted gray with brass is to make it look like "lucks, kits, and golf" are connected to each other like shining stars. This appearance makes this product mysterious. To look like a rune, type stamping was mainly used, and the certificate was embossed with luxury. In the case of the box, the brass stamping on three positions is a challenge. It's difficult to stamp on each correctly.
