Located in Fushoyama-cho, Takamatsu City, where I have been to every year for exhibitions, there is an udon shop called "Udon no Den". After discovering the udon of Takamatsu, I couldn'tfind myself enjoying the udon in Tokyo anymore - this is definitely my favorite restaurant. The meat udon on the menu is a wonderful combination of lightly flavored broth with bonito stock, chunky noodles, and sweet and spicy beef shigure.

It is said that there are more udon stores than convenience stores in Kagawa Prefecture. Among the many udon stores in Kagawa, Udon no Den is one of the most popular. In addition to the simple Kake Udon and Bukkake Udon, their meat-based menu is also popular. The meat udon in the photo and the restaurant's popular Kakuni Udon! The size and thickness of the udon, the flavorful meat that has been simmered for six hours, and the firm noodles create robust combination of flavors that guarantee you that one bite will have you falling in love with their entire menu.
