The "Honey by Usage Series" is a series of honey products with the theme of "making honey more accessible" and proposing food pairings such as "for toast" and "for yogurt" from over 100 types of honey collected from all over the world by Takuzaburo Ichikawa, a honey hunter at Kaneichi Shoten.

With the COVID19 beginning to rage at the same time as its release, consumers and stores have been asked to stay-home, so we asked ourselves, "What kind of honey can we enjoy at stay-home?"

The first step was to consider the problems associated with conventional bottled honey, such as damage during transportation, high shipping costs, and heavy packaging. We found out a packaging format that would (1) make shipping less expensive, (2) deliver the honey contact-free, and (3) prevent damage during transportation.

We wanted to make honey a part of the lifestyle of the younger generation who have grown weary of honey, so we focused on a "design" that would look good on social media as if it were in a canister, and a "functionality" that would allow for easy pouring and less washing up.
