"CD jacket design for the Japanese composer and musician Shintaro Imai. Since the title of the album is "Figure in Movement" I tried to achieve a dynamic image by using the means developed by the Futurist artists of the early 20th century: multiplication. In case of the dancing ping pong ball this effect is quite obvious, I guess. In order to add a more secret "easter egg" reference to Futurism I added an extra stroke to the character "形" kind of like comic book speed lines, and one additional leg to the letter "R" so it appears to be running."
