"Pampshade is a light for the interior, made from real bread. The warm and soft atmosphere that bread holds is fused with lighting to create a new light for the interior.
Bread is not only delicious to eat, but has the power to bring warmth to people.
Made through the pursuit of the "charm of bread that can not be felt by eating alone", each bread light is made as the only one of its kind in the world.
Materials: Strong flour, flour, salt, yeast, LED, battery, and other misc.
This work is made to look like bread itself when the light is turned off.
As it is handmade, each piece is subtly different in form and holds unique details that cannot be done with mass production.
Thus for its package, I focused on communicating the "authenticity of bread", "that it's not just ordinary bread, but that it's an interior light", and that it's a "handmade, one-off product".
The form of the bread can be clearly seen from its outer package, and emphasis was placed on the design to communicate its value as a one-off interior light."
