Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is located in Ratchaburi Province, about 90 km west of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Klong Damnoen Saduak is the straightest and longest canal in Thailand. The canal was built by King Rama IV of Thailand under the leadership of the royal family to connect the Mae Klong River and the Chinese river channel to support transportation and trade. The canal is 32 kilometers long and has more than 200 branches.
