Since the Edo period, people of Uchikocho town in Ehime Prefecture, cherished the region’s rice, water and air. Chiyonokame-Shuzo Souryu was invented as a symbol of continued traditional sake making culture of their region - a tradition that has been passed down from previous generations for over 300 years.
