"King of Modern Light" is a new line of sake from Minenohakubai Shuzo, a long-established sake brewery in Niigata founded in 1636.
King of Modern Light is a new line of sake from Minenohakubai Shuzo, a long-established Niigata sake brewery founded in 1636.
It was inspired by the fact that the Toji (director of the sake) is a former DJ. The packaging was designed with the hope that people would choose sake as they would choose a record jacket. The picture on the label is from Niigata. The label is composed of photographs and illustrations of the local scenery of Niigata.
