She is a costume stylist and a costume designer working at the forefront of a wide range of media including advertising, magazines, music videos, TV, film, and stage. Also works as a personal stylist and apparel designer.

After independence as a freelance in 2007, Shoko was appointed as an assistant of Patricia Field, an American stylist famous for ”Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada”, and it made her talent widely acknowledged at the age of 24.

Currently, she works in the forefront in a wide range of fields including Advertisement, Magazine, Music Video, TV, Movie, and Stage. Her specialty covers from Formal to Casual, from Drama to Sci-Fi, etc. Also familiar with special costume gimmicks represented by quick-change of clothes, she has contributed to improving Japanese creativity with various scenes.

In 2021, she developed SEI SHOKO STYLING OFFICE. In addition to mass media such as advertisements, she opened a personal styling salon in Harajuku atelier and online so that anyone can discover their "wonderful self" by utilizing her past experience.
In 2022, the original products on the TV shopping channel "I'm Not by Shoko Sei". was launched. Debuted as a filmmaker with the music video for Joey Tee's "Someday". In charge of planning, composition, direction, and costume styling.

Contracted with "TBS Casting" and "Speakers.jp", a casting company for lectures and talk shows.
Debuted as a model in a promotional movie for the fashion brand "TARROW TOKYO".
