A key figure in the development of graphic design in China, Shaohua Chen founded CSH Design Company in 1992, one of the earliest design companies in the country.
He is also a member of the AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale), the Chinese Artists Association, SGDA (Shenzhen Graphic Design Association) Academic Committee, and serves as the associate director at the China National Academy of Fine Arts.
