"Until the Great East Japan Earthquake, we were organic farmers; however, as the safety of organic agriculture was suspected with radioactivity, we abandoned production and sales of fresh vegetables, and began making processed goods. Since I am from an agricultural background, I work to create products that express the vegetables (their form, colour, and taste) to their upmost potential, and aim to create products that stimulate the five senses."
