COBATO SPECULOOS:

COBATO SPECULOOS started with a thought: ‘I want to make a cute tin box.’ Since COBATOPAN FACTORY is known for its retro-cute concept, I thought it would be nice to have something simple that didn’t clash with the box. I remembered buying speculoos in one of my trips to Eastern Europe: a rustic cookie with a crunchy texture and hint of spice. I thought it will be perfect for COBATOPAN FACTORY. We made slight adjustments to the spices to match the Japanese palette and tastebuds. After many trials and errors, the COBATO SPECULOOS was developed.

COBATO BISCUIT:

Introduced as the second original product of COBATOPAN FACTORY. With the concept of not being sweet, it has a salt, rosemary, cheese and pepper finishing. Perfect to pair with coffee and tea, but also with wine and whisky. It has a slight mature taste compared to the speculoos.
