Born 1977 in Kyoto, Japan.
 
After graduating from Kyoto University of Art & Design, Department of Information Design in 2001, he joins Dentsu. Notable works include JR East Japan's "Ikuze, Tohoku" (Get back, Tohoku), an impactful ad for the areas affected by the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami, as well as Panasonic's "Life is Electric" and "Magic 1day Menicon Flat pack" to name a few. His vast range of works in industry advertisements and branding are filled with stories and bring out the true essence of the people behind them. He has been recognised through numerous accolades, some of which include the Tokyo ADC Award, JAGDA Newcomers Award, Cannes Design Lions Grand Prize, One Show Design Grand Prize, D&AD Yellow Pencil, NY ADC Goldand has served as a judge for the D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, ADFEST, and Spikes Asia. 

He is also a visiting professor at the Kyoto University of Art & Design
