Ryosuke Uehara
Born in Hokkaido, graduated from the Department of Design (Textile) at Tama Art University, Ryosuke Uehara has been working in graphic design company DRAFT Co., Ltd until 2012 when he established KIGI with Yoshie Watanabe.
Major work was art directing for numerous projects such as PASS THE BATON and Theatre Products, as well as product development for D-BROS. In addition, KIGI has established a new product brand named KIKOF, applying the traditional craftsmanship from Shiga Prefecture, Japan, from planning of design work flow, to creation, and exhibitions. Ryosuke continues seeking for new ways of creation.
In summer 2015, KIGI's new products such as Tokyo Platinum were showcased at shop & gallery, OUR FAVORITE SHOP. Multiple awards were received including the Grand Prize in Tokyo ADC Award, The 11th Yusaku Kamekura Award, JAGDA Award, Gold in NY ADC, and Gold in ONE SHOW DESIGN etc.
Moreover, the magazine styled work collection "KIGI_M" was published by Little More.
